Too much STRESS can lead to future Heart problems....

Stress Beaters for Life

Stress Management
(Stress Beaters for Life)

Dear Reader,

I have been an anxiety, panic attack and depression disorder sufferer for a good part of my life. This is all thanks to stress! Just before my first anxiety attack, I felt unusually nervous. Things that made me nervous included constant dwelling over my money situation as well as work related pressures.  All of this culminated in unbearable nervousness one sunny day at work. Within minutes, I started to feel discomfort in my chest which continued for the next hour or so. In parallel to these sensations, my breathing became shallow while I started to feel really scarred. I told my co-workers that I was not feeling well and that I would be going home. I really did not have a clue what was happening to me. What complicated the issues was that I was at work. I was practically one hour away from home.

While driving home, I was getting more nervous while my breathing became faster and shallower. Then about 10 minutes into my driving, my hands started feeling numb starting from the tips of my fingers up. Soon after, my stomach became numb as well. I was really into panic mode by now. I thought I was going to die and that I was getting a heart attack. I decided to pull off the road to the shoulder. By this time, I saw tunnel vision and was having trouble with my speech. Somehow, I managed to motion to a passing car to help me. Luckily, the driver stopped and called emergency. What seemed like a lifetime,  emergency assistance came by within 5 minutes, at which point of time I was laying down on the car seat. All kinds of things were flowing through my mind including snapshots of my life traveling at the speed of light. The very first thing I asked the policeman was if I was going to die. Eventually I ended up in the Emergency room only for doctors to find nothing!

Stressful life is much more the norm than the exception for any adult living in the Western societies. I see myself as a perfect example of someone who had allowed stress into their life to such degree I eventually had to break down!

My breakdown transpired as the anxiety/panic disorder. There are many factors we are all so stressed. In my case I had a combination of stress factors including living with in-laws, working a regular job as well as having my own company on the side.

Having a balanced life, free from high stress, is the key to healthy lives. Your mental health is just as important to your physical health. If you don’t take care of your mind your body will suffer or vice versa. Being an x-patient of anxiety disorder I have learned my lesson the hard way. Taking control over stress, physical activity and an open mind where the key to beating my anxiety disorder.

During my recovery process I was really frustrated with  the available literature on stress & panic.  I read a couple of books I was able to find, but they both turned out to be either pep talk or scientific stats. Out of frustration and my desire to help others in similar situations, I wrote my book. Anyone with high stress or depression will benefit by reading this e-book. Read my e-book and learn to enjoy your life for good!

Learn to Live & Enjoy Life All Over Again (only this time the better way)!

Depression and stress are like two close siblings. They usually come together. They also leave together. In other words when one wants to mage stress better one is also managing depression. Not surprisingly, stress and depression are also correlated to your life styles.

Many times I wonder "why do people keep making same mistakes all over again with things that seems so common sense"? The answer to this question, I fully understand now and that is that human beings do not change if they do not have to change. They love status quo because they get some form of pleasure from it. If they saw it is more painful to not do something then they jump and do it. Many times I look back and laugh about all the things that would give me stress. Once you learn to view stressful situations in a different light you will never allow stress to win you over. Perception is everything when it comes to stress. Either you will engrave in your mind that a particular scenario is not to be stressed about or you will forever live in fear of it.
